Push and hold the button to extend Eclipse to partial or full 8' extension in just seconds. as the billow-proof worm-gear motor unrolls the canopy, the rafter arms glide up the vertical track on the side of the coach to deploy a stable, truss-like, overhead support.
Push and hold the button to retract and the Eclipse will roll up tight against the coach. That's it! There's nothing to lock or latch. Carefree's exclusive worm-gear drive motor locks the roller for travel and provides the greatest assurance of absolute protection against billowing.

12V Hardwired Eclipse Arm Set: Must be wired into a 12V source inside RV. Includes two operating switches: An exterior switch on the base of the front arm, and an interior switch. Select this model if you want WindSmart or Remote Operation.
12V Battery Operated Eclipse Arm Set: No wiring required; fast easy installation. The rechargeable battery is located inside the front arm and the operation switch is on the base of the front arm. 12V battery charger comes with 23' of cord with a jack that fits a special receptacle in the base of the front arm. Note: Battery Operated Arm Set cannot be upgraded with WindSmart of Wireless Remote Option.
Choose from three Armset pitch models:

Flat Universal Pitch Arms 4.25" wide by 69.5" long with extended pitch range from 6 degrees to 22 degrees. This arm can retrofit existing 8' extension awnings, and is available in battery or hardwired versions. Ideal for mounting over slideouts and close-clearance doors (rail to top of door), and for travel trailers with a minimum rail-to-ground measurement of at least 8'.
Steep Pitch Arms (special order) 4.25" wide by 69.5" long with extended pitch range from 17 degrees to 29 degrees. This arm can retrofit existing 8' extension awnings, and is available in battery or hardwired versions. Ideal for high awning rails (at least 11' from ground) and non-slide applications from greater low-sun protection.
XL Flat Universal Pitch Arms for 9' extension awnings (special order) is 4.25" wide by 77" long with extended pitch range from 6 degrees to 25 degrees. Available in battery or hardwired versions. Must order arms and roller. not retrofittable. Ideal for mounting over slideouts and close-clearance doors (rail to top of door).
Eclipse WindSmart Option: Lets you select three levels of sensitivity. Carefree's WindSmart automatic wind sensor retracts your Eclipse awning to guard it against wind damage. You can leave your awning extended, and the WindSmart system will retract your awning if necessary.
Eclipse Wireless Remote Option: Operate your awning from anywhere around your campsite with remote control convenience. Note: Wireless Remote Option MUST BE PURCHASED ALONG WITH THE WINDSMART option.
Door Clearance Note: Minimum distance from top of door to awning rail. Square corner doors: 7" for Alumaguard rollers; 6" for vinyl rollers. Round doors: 4" for Alumaguard rollers; 5" for vinyl rollers.
Slideout Clearance Note: Universal Flat Pitch Arms will clear slideout; if you choose to lower pitch beware that the canopy MAY contact slideout.
if retrofitting existing A&E awning you must purchase A&E Retrofit Kit - older, steel roller 18'-21' awnings must be replaced with a Carefree aluminum roller (special $100 price for replacement tube).
